EPSRC Engineering Net Zero Photography Competition

Get your cameras ready and enter the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Engineering Net Zero Photography Competition.

The Engineering Net Zero Photography Competition is your chance to showcase your photos, to support excellence and promote the benefits of outstanding UK engineering and physical sciences.

The competition opens on 14 March 2022 and will close on 19 May 2022.

Competition categories

There are five competition categories:

  • towards net zero
  • transport and mobility solutions
  • solutions for a greener industry and urbanisation
  • our green future
  • weird and wonderful world of net zero.

You may submit up to three images and each image should be submitted into a single category.

Winners and finalists

Entries will be judged on their visual impact, public appeal and ability to convey research in action. The entries will also be judged alongside the caption putting the image into context.

All winning images will be featured:

The winner of each category will receive a £250 voucher. Runners up for second and third place in each category will each receive a £50 voucher.
