This guideline outlines principles for good clinical practice and trials management that apply to all trials of clinical and public health interventions in lower and middle income countries, including:

  • methods for diagnosis
  • treatment
  • disease prevention
  • management of service provision.

Clinical trials in the UK or EU are not covered in these guidelines.
