This document outlines Research England’s approach to driving additional university-business collaboration to address the government’s priority, and how they will take account of other Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy priorities of improving university intellectual property (IP) commercialisation and local growth considerations.

This includes details on funding allocated in the Higher Education Innovation Fund business and commercialisation supplements and the Research England development fund and the Connecting Capability Fund programme.
