Details

This document has been designed by the Medical Research Council (MRC) with colleagues at NIHR. The table provides extra guidance on the remits of MRC and NIHR funding schemes that support clinical studies and trials, including:

  • MRC Experimental Medicine Panel
  • MRC Developmental Pathway Funding Scheme
  • MRC/NIHR Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation programme
  • NIHR Health Technology Assessment programme

The aim is to help researchers to determine which funding scheme is the most appropriate for their proposed project.
