Rashik is Group CEO of British Computer Society (BCS) where he is responsible for realising the BCS mission to make IT good for society. He is focused on inspiring the programmes that the BCS colleagues, members and partners that help us deliver the BCS strategy.
Previously he was the IBM Fellow and Vice President responsible for creating and driving IBM’s European technical strategy. Rashik focused on helping clients on the journey to becoming a cognitive enterprise leveraging cloud, artificial intelligence and internet of things technologies whilst creating a dependable IT platform.
He also has a wide range of non-executive expertise through roles such as chairing the Employment and Skills Panel at the Leeds City Region LEP and the Board of Trustees for We are IVE.
