Chief Operating Officer
Louisa is the Chief Operating Officer for Innovate UK.
Before this, Louisa was Chief Operating Officer for the Corsham Institute, a research and learning not for profit which delivers research and programmes to excite, retrain and upskill people for the digital economy.
Prior to that Louisa was Risk and Assurance Director, followed by Transformation Programme Director at the National Trust – acting as the catalyst for improvement in business processes, technology and the control environment, then seeing that through into design and implementation of new processes, EPoS and an ERP system for the commercial businesses of the Trust.
Louisa started her career at PwC, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked with multiple different businesses to improve their control environment and give assurance over financial accounts, business processes, risk management, internal controls and IT systems.
