  • investigating how pollutants interact within rivers and supporting ecosystems

Turing AI World-Leading Researcher Fellowships: round two

Apply for funding to undertake world-leading research to advance the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in the UK.

This opportunity is aimed at established researchers. International applicants are welcome. However, you must be based in the UK at an organisation eligible for UK Research and Innovation funding to hold the fellowship.

Work with US-based researchers on environmental science research

Apply for funding to work with US-based researchers on an environmental science proposal.

Collaborative work is governed by an agreement between NERC and NSF.

You must be:

  • based at a UK research organisation eligible for NERC funding
  • employed at lecturer (or equivalent) level or above.

Apply for funding to pursue an ambitious, high-risk and high-reward project in environmental science.

You must be:

We welcome:

  • multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research
  • projects delivered in partnership with other research funders and users.

  • have international standing in your area
