The UK Geoenergy Observatories (UKGEOS) project is building world-class geoenergy research facilities and open source data or tools to study the subsurface.

This workshop will:

  • introduce the planned facilities at the Cheshire UK Geoenergy Observatory, including tours of the core stores and core scanning facility at Keyworth
  • update attendees about the as-built facilities at the Glasgow UK Geoenergy Observatory, core scanner and data portal
  • support exploration of research ideas using the four sets of facilities
  • allow community input into the during drilling decision making process for Cheshire.

Funding is available for travel for attendees without research grants.
