Learn about the policymaking process with Engaging with Government - AHRC

Engaging with Government is an annual three-day course run by Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Institute for Government. Its aim is to help researchers understand the policymaking process and apply it to their research.

It also aims to build links between policymakers and new arts and humanities research.

You’ll need to meet both of these requirements:

  • you’re an arts and humanities researcher (at any post-doctoral career stage)
  • you’re based at a UK higher education institution (HEI) or a recognised independent research organisation.

More information about eligibility will be available once the next application round opens.

How to apply

The course is currently closed for applications. We’ll update this page once the next application round opens.
