Starting your project

If you are successful, we will email you with a formal offer letter. This will be sent to the email address associated with your research organisation’s administrative authority – normally a research development manager or officer.

The letter sets out:

  • the funding being awarded
  • proposed start and end dates of the project.

The administrative authority will need to use the Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system to:

  • accept the offer
  • submit the start confirmation.

Nothing will happen until your research authority has done this. Failure to respond may result in the funding award lapsing.
