Manage your funding award

Reporting your financial information

Your organisation will need to submit a final expenditure statement within three months of a funded project ending. There is a set process.

  1. A statement will become available in the Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system from the end date of your grant.
  2. An email will be sent to the finance functional account you provided in your application, asking for the statement to be completed and giving the deadline for doing so.
  3. If you do not submit a final expenditure statement, we may take action to recover our funds from your organisation. This could be 20% of the grant if not submitted within three months, or the whole grant if nothing is submitted within six months.
  4. You may also be required to submit interim expenditure statements. For example, some councils ask for these if a grant award is for 42 months or more. This will be outlined in the specific terms and conditions of the funding award.

Check the Je-S handbook section on expenditure statements for full details on how to complete and submit your statement.
