How we engage with our community

Engaging with UKRI

We work closely with a broad and diverse range of voices from across the UK to inform our strategy development and to understand the priorities of our stakeholders.

We run regular engagement activities where members of the research and innovation community can tell us what they think. For example, you can give us written evidence through the UKRI Engagement Hub or take part in a ‘roundtable’ discussion. There are also opportunities to join our advisory committees, panels and networks.

We also support the research and innovation community in engaging with members of the public.

UKRI Engagement Hub

The hub is the main online space where we share our ideas to get your feedback.

Find current engagement activities and get involved.

View results of past engagement activities.

Shape future council priorities

UKRI’s research councils run ideas processes to engage with the research and innovation community and beyond. The aim is to identify adventurous and transformative ideas within their disciplines.

Help councils build a pipeline of great ideas.

Advisory groups

The Research Organisation Consultation Group (ROCG) facilitates dialogue between UKRI and the wider research and innovation community.

Inform UKRI strategy by joining one of our advisory groups, for example, the Early Career Researcher Forum.
